Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
